Mammoth Mountain Resort lives up to it’s name by offering 3,500 acres of skiable terrain and a 3,100 foot vertical drop!
This resort incorporates modern facilities, excellent terrain and an extended ski season that can last into July! The mountain has a variety of steep chutes, tree skiing, expansive bowls, wide open groomers and world-class terrain parks.
With an average of 400 inch annual snowfall, the resort sits on the north side of the mountain and sits at a high elevation ensuring superb snow quality and amazing views across the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Mammoth Mountain had a record breaking 2016/17 season with a record monthly snowfall of 246 inches between January 1st and January 24th alone, with a total of 540 inches in total for the season which is expected to last well into August! This was the second most snowfall the resort has received in its 65 years of operation, with a record 668 inches of the white stuff during the 2010/11 season.
Mammoth has something for everyone, there are a great mixture of runs; for beginners, intermediates, advanced skiers and even experts!
With après activities ranging from tubing to scenic gondola rides, you’ll have plenty of things to do when you’re not on the snow.

The Mammoth Mountain Inn ***
Established in 1959, The Mammoth Mountain Inn is the only hotel at Main Lodge for over half a century. Sitting at 9,000 feet it provides a skiers’ and snowboarders’ paradise with the ultimate entry point to slopes in winter, backcountry in summer, and a 2,000-foot vertical advantage over everyone else in town.
The comfortable en-suite rooms sleep from 2 – 4 people. All rooms have a telephone, TV and DVD player. The hotel has excellent facilities including 2 meeting venues, games room and 2 restaurants as well as 2 bars.
